New York - The United Arab Emirates has formally announced donation of 478,000 US Dollars to the development programmes of the United Nations for the year 2006. Mohammed Saeed Mana Al Otaiba, member of the UAE mission at the UN, said that 324,000 Dollars were being earmarked for the UNDP, 100,000 for UNICEF and 54,000 for UNHCR.
