The world record for the longest car drift was smashed in Abu Dhabi on Friday, with Lebanese driver Abdo Feghali almost doubling the previous benchmark. Yas Marina Circuit CEO Richard Cregan has revealed his team were forced to remove nearly four tonnes of sand from the track just days before the Formula One circus rolled into Abu Dhabi. Ticket sales are on track for next month's fourth Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, according to Yas Marina Circuit officials.
