Growth of 11.3 per cent was recorded in spending during the Dubai Shopping Festival 2003 to Dh5.2 billion from Dh4.6 billion in 2002. Several companies have reported an unexpected increase in the number of visitors coming for Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2003. Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) has so far reported a 40 per cent increase in visitor numbers and 20 per cent increase in sales at shopping malls.
