Mohammed bin Zayed receives Total CEO

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received in Abu Dhabi yesterday Christophe de Margerie, Chief Executive Officer of Total and his accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to the UAE.

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed Christophe de Margerie and praised UAE ties with France which he described as a "key strategic partner." The meeting also reviewed Total's projects in Abu Dhabi with ADNOC, as well as ways to enhance relations and to exchange expertise between the two companies.

Also discussed were topics related to oil & gas industry and current developments in the world's oil market. Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohammed will attend on Wednesday a ceremony to graduate new batch of navy cadet officers. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
