Khalifa holds talks with President of Comoros

President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan received yesterday at Al Bateen Palace President Ahmed Abdallah Sambi of Comoros who is currently visiting the country. Sheikh Khalifa welcomed his guest, wishing the bilateral friendly relations more cooperation for the interest of the two countries.

The meeting reviewed ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation especially in humanitarian and economic domains. The two leaders exchanged views on the latest events in the international and African scenes. The President of Comoros praised progress made by the UAE in all walks of life.

He said that he was delighted at visiting the UAE and meeting with Sheikh Khalifa. He said that his country was grateful to the UAE for its continuous assistance to African countries affected by poverty and disasters. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
