Ministerial Commission approves ministries complex design
Posted on07/05/2007 07:56:50

The Ministerial Services Commission (MSC) yesterday approved architectural plans for a new federal ministries complex to be established in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi. The selected design of the 560,000 square metre complex features a blend of local and modern architectural patterns.

At yesterday's meeting, presided over by its Chairman, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs, the Commission praised the outcome of the banking Emiratisation committee and urged effective measures for triggering the process of Emiratisation and development of national human resources. The Commission criticized the slack pace of Emiratisation at some banks. The Commission reviewed a number of reports filed by different ministries. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
