Mohammed bin Zayed receives Algerian official

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received in Abu Dhabi last Wednesday Karim Judi, Algerian Minister of Finance. At the outset of the meeting , Sheikh Mohammed asked the Algerian official to convey his own greetings and those of President H.H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

Sheikh Mohammed also underlined the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation in a manner that would promote the best interests of the two countries. He also lauded the outcome of the UAE-Algerian joint ministerial committee meeting which concluded here this weekend amid renewed commitment by both sides to bolster economic ties. The UAE side was headed by Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of Economy while the Algerian side was headed by her counterpart Karim Judi.

For his part Minister Joudi stressed the need to enhance bilateral cooperation, saying the two countries have the potential and political will to work together and forge a long term economic partnership. He lauded the astounding progress made by the UAE in various fields of development. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
