The UAE is a major world centre for a wide range of exhibitions and events.
Sporting events feature spectacular prizes with major international participants.
Exhibitions cater for virtually all major interest groups from aviation
enthusiasts to boat-lovers and farmers to military advisers, Well equipped
exhibition centres and conference facilities are present in each of the
major cities. In addition to the big shows such as IDEX, TRIDEX and the
Dubai Air Show there are many other annual shows that attract thousands
of visitors to the UAE. Not all are for members of particular trades or
professions; the Dubai Shopping Festival, for example, brings large numbers
of ordinary shoppers to the Emirates.
