Nassim Al Majed works for the Central Bank of UAE as an IT Professional, having graduated from HCT in 2002 as a Bachelor of Applied Science, Business Information Technology.
Mrs Nassim is a mosaicist, producing beautifully detailed work such as her portrait of HH Sheikh Zayed. This particular piece of art involved the use of about 30,000 pieces of Italian glass and took 400 hours to complete. Her other mosaics exhibited on this page include Arabic and Islamic words and Ayat.
While much of her work is in mosaics, Mrs Nassim also does miniatures and oil painting. She draws on pebbles, ceramic tiles, eggs, as well as designing gifts and gift wrapping.
